About Doctor David Koivuranta

Born and raised in the Northwestern Ontario city of Thunder Bay, Dave was excited to return to his home town to establish his first chiropractic practice at the young age of 24. While serving the community that afforded him so many opportunities over the years as a student and competitive runner, he not only provided top quality health care solutions and wellness alternatives but also established an identity as a leading educator and speaker.

Over his four year career in Thunder Bay, several hundred patients were introduced to the benefits of the chiropractic lifestyle. Several hundred more were enlightened and entertained through over 75 presentations varying from business and industry to public and private groups. Topics focusing on health care concerns such as headaches, back pain, wellness approaches and preventative efforts were popular events hosted in offices, libraries and hotel conference settings. Workplace ergonomics, stress control, sports injuries, athletic enhancement and motivational presentations were among the top requested speaking engagements.

After grudgingly selling his practice full of wonderful individuals and families and leaving the scenic and peaceful surroundings of the Northwest, Dave opened his arms to new challenges and opportunities in Toronto. His lovely wife had always longed to live and work in the "big city" and her passion for this desire gave him faith that it would be to their benefit to follow her dream. Thankfully, the dream came true. One year after making many big changes, Dave is happy to have established new roots in the dynamic and exciting city of Toronto.

Patients have grown to love the small town, down-to-earth, tell-it-like-it-is health care approach that Dave employs, namely the Health Care Solution System. At the same time, his thought provoking, informative and motivating presentations have been well accepted into the professional and personal ranks of the city. Dave is dedicated to continuing this trend of personal service and top quality education through his practice efforts and speaking engagements. Dave looks forward to expanding the impact of his skills and experience while continuing to give back to the city and community in which he and his wife live.
